The Medford Historical Society is conducting a contest to select a logo and colors that will be used to identify the organization. The logo must have the wording “Medford Historical Society” with colors that represents the historical nature of the organization.
The logo will be used to identify the Medford Historical Society on communication materials and other items that the Society feels will promote the organization.
The Medford Historical Society is the owner of the complex at Kirby’s Mill and the caretaker of the Cross Keys School House. Logo designs should be associated with the property, buildings or contents of buildings in whole or part and/or Medford History.
The winning entry becomes the property of the Medford Historical Society. The Medford Historical Society has the right to alter the entry after the contest is concluded. If the Society feels there are insufficient entries we reserve the right to re-advertise or cancel the contest.
Parameters for the logos are as follows:
• Entry size 8 inch by 10 inch.
• Submit original art work, unsigned.
• Art work to be copy ready.
• Art work to be in color.
• Total submission includes art work and entry form.
The contest is open to everyone.
All entries must be submitted by July 12, at 2 p.m. on Country Day at Kirby’s Mill, Medford. Early entries may be submitted by calling Tom Rende at 654-1629 for arrangements. The winner will be unveiled and announced on August 2, at the Art Show and Sale, Kirby’s Mill, at 2 p.m.
